This blogger is being created for me to experiment with using
Google Tools for the classroom. The goal is to assist me in finding a venue for sharing the goings on at school for parents and so that I can credibly introduce the idea of blogging to my students.
Blogging definitely has it's benefits in the language arts classroom. You can pose a question for all students to reply to based on their own novel and then they can read other posts and reply on other posts. You can also have students reading the same books commenting on and replying to a given question. It is a really cool way to have students discuss without having to be in the same room. Have fun with it, but try not to over use it because, like anything else, kids will get bored with it.
